Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Marketing and Communications Specialist to amplify the mission and vision of the Pham Foundation. This individual will develop and execute impactful marketing strategies, manage digital platforms, and create engaging content that inspires action from our partners, donors, and broader community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social impact, an eye for detail, and a knack for storytelling to effectively communicate the foundation's work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to enhance the visibility of the Pham Foundation and its initiatives.
- Design and maintain the foundation's website, ensuring user-friendly navigation and adherence to UX/UI best practices.
- Utilize graphic design skills to create visually appealing marketing materials, including presentations, infographics, website and social media graphics.
- Create and manage content for social media platforms, website, email campaigns, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to produce compelling stories, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using SEO and analytics tools, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in donor engagement campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing or communications, preferably within non-profit organizations or foundations.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and experience managing website content.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a storytelling mindset.
- Passion for education and social causes, aligning with the mission of the Pham Foundation.
What We Offer
- Rate: $17 per hour.
- Hours: 21 hours per week.
- Location: Remote or in-office, San Ramon, CA.
